DLF International Movers at LACMA Convention 2026: connecting the future of international mobility
This March 2026, DLF International Movers will be present at LACMA Convention 2026, one of the most significant gatherings in the international moving and global mobility sector.
The event will take place in Lima, Peru, bringing together companies, professionals, and industry leaders to share knowledge, strengthen alliances, and analyze the trends that will shape the future of the international moving industry.
LACMA Convention 2026: the key meeting for international mobility
The annual LACMA convention, organized by the Latin American & Caribbean International Movers Association, has established itself as a crucial meeting point for companies specialized in international mobility.
Each edition brings together professionals from different countries to foster collaboration between agents, exchange experiences, and discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by an increasingly globalized environment.
This year’s convention theme, “The Next Move: Shaping Tomorrow,” invites reflection on the strategic decisions transforming the industry and the role that new generations of professionals will play in the sector’s evolution.
In a context where international mobility continues to grow and adapt to new economic and social realities, gatherings like LACMA allow participants to share perspectives and build a common vision for the industry’s future.
Cristina Mesonero represents DLF in Lima
At this edition, DLF International Movers will be represented by Cristina Mesonero, International Corporate Director of the company. Her participation in the convention will strengthen relationships with international partners, exchange best practices with other industry companies, and continue promoting the development of global mobility in Latin America.
Cristina Mesonero’s presence once again reflects the increasingly relevant role of women’s leadership within the international logistics and relocation industry.
In a constantly evolving sector, diversity of perspectives helps drive innovation, collaboration, and the development of solutions adapted to an increasingly dynamic global market.
For DLF International Movers, participating in international meetings like LACMA Convention is not only an opportunity to strengthen its network of collaborators but also to continue contributing to the growth of an industry based on trust, cooperation, and knowledge exchange among professionals worldwide.
International mobility today demands more than ever a global vision, the ability to adapt to new scenarios, and constant collaboration between companies that share the goal of offering increasingly efficient and personalized services.
Social commitment: volunteering with TECHO Peru
The trip to Lima will also have a social dimension. Before participating in the convention, Cristina Mesonero will volunteer alongside her daughter Rocío de la Fuente in an emergency housing construction project supporting the organization TECHO Peru. This initiative is part of the company’s social commitment and reflects its desire to actively contribute to the communities where it operates.
TECHO is an organization present in 19 Latin American countries that mobilizes thousands of young volunteers to fight extreme poverty and improve living conditions in vulnerable communities.
One of its main projects is the construction of prefabricated emergency wooden housing, designed to offer a quick and dignified solution to families living in precarious housing situations. These homes are built through collaboration between volunteers and the beneficiary families themselves, fostering community participation and generating a direct impact on people’s quality of life.
The scope of TECHO’s work in the region is significant. To date, the organization has built more than 150,000 emergency homes, benefiting over 675,000 people who now have a safer and more dignified home. In addition to these projects, the organization promotes initiatives related to access to water and sanitation, as well as community infrastructure projects that contribute to improving social development and community life.
For DLF International Movers, international mobility is not only about moving people and belongings between countries but also about building connections that generate positive impact. Participating in LACMA Convention 2026 represents an opportunity to continue learning, share experiences with other industry professionals, and strengthen a global network based on collaboration.
From Lima, the company will continue working to promote an international mobility sector increasingly connected, innovative, and committed to the future, understanding that every move, every alliance, and every project is part of a broader vision: connecting people, communities, and opportunities around the world.
